About the position

The position involves supporting the planning, integration, and coordination of Global ISR mission requirements for the Pentagon-based Joint Staff J32 Joint ISR Operations Center (JISROC). The role focuses on global ISR operations, including manned and unmanned airborne, space-based, maritime, and terrestrial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and staffing of the DoD's annual global ISR allocation plan and sourcing recommendations in response to emergent/short-notice requests for DoD ISR forces (Requests for Forces - RFFs).
  • Interact with Combatant Commands, Services, JS, Intelligence Community, and other DoD and civilian agencies to respond to DoD taskings and Requests for Information (RFI) regarding ISR capabilities and processes.
  • Support all applicable GFM meetings and senior forums addressing ISR allocation, including GFM Action Officer (AO) and General/Flag Officer (GOFO) Secure Video Teleconference (SVTC), J-32 ISR GFM SVTC, quarterly GFM Boards (GFMB), and Operations Deputies or Joint Chiefs of Staff Tanks.
  • Support the Joint Planning and Execution Community (JPEC) management and review of Global Campaign Plans (GCPs), Combatant Command (CCMD) campaign plans (CCPs), Integrated Contingency Plans (ICPs), and other plans tasked by the Contingency Planning Guidance (CPG) or the Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan (JSCP).
  • Coordinate and evaluate ISR activities across all plans, including support contingency sourcing drills.
  • Identify risk mitigation options and develop recommendations for reprioritization and reallocation.

Requirements

  • Active TS+ clearance
  • Six years' experience in reach-back/distributed PED (processing, exploitation and dissemination) planning and execution within a Service intelligence organization or at the Combatant Command/JS level.
  • At least nine years of demonstrated current and relevant experience in staffing, communication, and coordination efforts across Combatant Commands, Services, interagency, and the joint military environment.
  • At least nine years of current demonstrated and relevant experience in analyzing, reviewing, producing, disseminating, and publishing formal documentation pertaining to ISR.
  • Proficient in MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and Access.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in developing and presenting complex written products and briefing for senior leaders (O-6/GS-15) and higher.
