About the position

The Joint Replacement Sales Representative at Stryker is responsible for selling joint replacement products while providing exceptional service and reliability. This role involves building strong relationships with surgeons and healthcare professionals, developing sales strategies, and exceeding sales expectations. The representative acts as a resident expert in joint replacement, ensuring that customer needs are met and contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Stryker Joint Replacement products with a high degree of service and reliability.
  • Become the resident expert on joint replacement products for surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships to increase territory results.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed sales expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with current and new customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Provide advice and training on products and tools to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of both).
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategies, and product demonstration techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
  • Comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
  • Ability to attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours.
  • Adhere to compliance and ethical standards in all business practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Familiarity with joint replacement products and procedures.
