NSI requires a Journeyman Acquisition Logistics Manager to support the Life Cycle Logistics support elements at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK for the E-6B. The Journeyman Acquisition Logistics Manager will be responsible for supporting all Life Cycle Logistics support elements. This role involves providing technical and management discipline associated with the design, development, testing, production, fielding, sustainment, and improvement/modification of cost-effective systems that meet the user's readiness and sustainability requirements. The manager will also provide acquisition and/or operational advice and guidance to Journeyman and Junior logisticians, ensuring that all logistics support activities are effectively planned and executed. In this position, the manager will plan, schedule, coordinate, and estimate major complex tasks, directing the activities of all acquisition and/or operational logistics support and maintenance engineering disciplines. The role requires expert support for maintenance planning, technical data management, manpower/personnel coordination, computer resources support, supply support, facilities management, support equipment, training, and packaging, handling, storage, and transportation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that logistics operations are efficient and effective, contributing to the overall success of the E-6B program.
