About the position

The Journeyman Acquisition Security Manager at Odyssey Systems Consulting Group is responsible for providing comprehensive security management and technical support services for the Fixed Wing Branch HC/MC-130 Recapitalization Program. This role involves ensuring compliance with security regulations, managing security documentation, and supporting the division's security operations to protect sensitive information and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with providing a wide range of security management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by AFLCMC/WIS.
  • Provide technical security services relative to the development, acquisition, and sustainment of aeronautical weapon systems, subsystems, and associated support systems.
  • Assist with program protection, technology control, and protection of For Official Use Only (FOUO) information, ensuring compliance with related DoD and AF instructions.
  • Provide support to the division's security operations.
  • Prepare and coordinate security-related briefing materials.
  • Provide security-related technical assistance to the directorate for briefings, meetings, and conferences.
  • Assist by recording and tracking security program action items, suspenses, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Security Education and Motivation Program for program-briefed personnel.
  • Develop and implement unique program in-briefings for newly assigned personnel and those out-processing from the program.
  • Provide classification management guidance to AFLCMC/WI and subordinate units for assigned programs.
  • Assist with the development of security requirements into contractual commitments.
  • Administratively assist with the coordination of DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specification.
  • Assist with electronic files management, records management, and file plan management.
  • Prepare and maintain security program documentation and briefing materials.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 2 years in the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Alternatively, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, including 5 years in the DoD.
