About the position

Ranger Roofing and Construction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Journeyman Commercial Roofer specializing in TPO roofing systems. This full-time position offers an opportunity to advance your career in commercial roofing, focusing on high-quality work and safety across Texas and the southeastern United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the proper installation of roofing materials in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Transport materials, equipment, and rigging to job sites as needed.
• Apply and repair roofing materials, ensuring precision and quality.
• Perform demolition and tear-off of existing roofing systems for repair or replacement.
• Knowledgeably install single-ply roofing systems such as TPO.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform hand welding of details and operate Leister varimat welder as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to company safety standards and exceed all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 3 years in single-ply roofing systems (TPO).
• Reliable transportation to job sites is required.
• A valid ID is required.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background clearance for the projects we work on.
• Strong knowledge of hand and power tools used in roofing work.
• Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts is a preferred skill.

Nice-to-haves

• Sheet metal roofing experience is a plus!
• A driver's license is preferred, but not required.
• TWIC card is a plus and is preferred, but not required.
