About the position

The Journeyman Database Architect position at Leidos is designed for individuals with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in database architecture. Responsibilities

  • Design strategies for enterprise databases and data warehouse systems under limited supervision.
  • Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses to share intelligence data.
  • Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow in collaboration with senior architects.
  • Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structures and refine system performance.

Requirements

  • Current Secret level clearance.
  • Ability to apply Database Architect methodologies to Operations, Maintenance and Sustainment (OM&S) of Mission Partner Environments (MPE).
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of BICES-X or other MPE Programs.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
