We are actively seeking a Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in bending conduit, wiring 3-way switches, and assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring. This position involves performing installations of basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The work environment is based in an indoor manufacturing setting, and all work will be performed onsite. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including steel-toed boots, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, and a hard hat, with all PPE provided except for the steel-toed boots. The role requires proficiency in running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear boxes, wiring 3-way switches, and testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices. Candidates must have experience working with electrical distribution systems and wiring up to 480V, as well as the ability to install conduit, wireways, pull wiring/cables, and terminate cables. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams is essential for this position. Additionally, candidates must bring their own tools, including a screwdriver set, channel locks, side cutter pliers, socket set, hot stick, and voltage detector, on their first day.
