Journeyman Electrician

About the position

Dagan Electric Company is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves installing electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards, focusing on new work, renovations, additions, and site work. The candidate will report to a Foreman and must adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems according to NEC and industry standards.
• Perform new work, renovations, additions, and site work as assigned.
• Comply with Dagan Electric Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current Journeyman Electrician license (preferred but not required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Dependable transportation for commuting to job sites within a 50-mile radius.
• Commercial Electrical Construction experience including pipe bending, MC cable experience, light fixture and device installation, and service entrance experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Site, underground, or Traffic/Municipal experience.
