About the position
The Journeyman Field Mechanic position at Papé Machinery involves working on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment at customer locations.
- Ensure equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime.
- Travel to various locations in a fully loaded service vehicle to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Interact with customers to provide excellent service and support.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must provide own tools.
