About the position

The Journeyman Information Technology Project Manager at Leidos is responsible for planning, initiating, and managing IT projects and task orders with limited supervision. This role involves collaboration with technical teams, serving as a liaison between Leidos, the prime contractor, and customers, and ensuring that project stages are planned effectively while meeting deadlines, standards, and cost targets. Responsibilities

• Plans, initiates, and manages information technology (IT) projects and task orders under the OM&S contract with limited supervision.
• In collaboration with the technical team, leads and guides the work of task order staff.
• Serves as a liaison between Leidos, the prime contractor, and customers for business and technical aspects of the project.
• Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage, including monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
• Reports to Leidos OM&S Program Manager.

Requirements

• Current Secret level clearance.
• Ability to apply PMBOK methodologies to Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of Mission Partner Environments (MPE).
• Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree may be substituted with additional years of experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of BICES-X or other MPE Programs.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience.
