Responsibilities
- Fabricating, installing, and assembling structural steel frameworks.
- Connecting steel by bolting or welding.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Operating tools and machinery safely on sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Layouts, rigging steel, and directing crane with hand signals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in structural ironwork.
- Comfortable with heights.
- Understanding of crane signaling procedures.
- Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Understanding of safety on construction sites.
- Must be reliable and able to take direction.
- Must be a Lansing resident.
