About the position

The Journeyman Logistics Manager at PE Systems, Inc. is responsible for supporting the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Program at Hanscom AFB, MA. This role requires extensive experience in logistics management, including planning, coordinating, and executing logistical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the defense acquisition lifecycle and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute logistical operations for the NC3 Program.
• Integrate separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program.
• Lead project teams in completing complex logistics projects.
• Conduct Logistics Health Assessments (LHA) and develop Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP).
• Evaluate and adjust plans and schedules to meet specific logistical requirements on time.
• Manage government furnished equipment (GFE) programs and ensure compliance with department policies.

Requirements

• BA/BS or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in logistics management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with DoD 5000.
• Familiarity with the DoD's integrated product support element structure.
• Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems.
