About the position

The Journeyman Operations Research Analyst (Model Based) position at Sabre Systems involves supporting the Systems Engineering Department at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The role focuses on applying scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to analyze technological problems related to the engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment, particularly in the context of weapons systems. The analyst will utilize model-based engineering practices to enhance system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support the Systems Engineering Department in technical research and development of technologies.
• Analyze and document the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems.
• Evaluate technical performance, mission suitability, and associated acquisition risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Apply scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to technological problems.
• Use mathematical and computerized modeling to design and execute procedures for experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
• Utilize MBSE practices to enhance system requirements and design activities.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology.
• Experience using MBSE Tools such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
• Active DoD secret clearance required.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Must be a US Citizen.
