About the position

The Journeyman-Senior Graphic Designer at Bluemont Technology & Research, Inc. is responsible for developing a wide range of graphics and multimedia products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and compliance. This role involves collaboration with UI/UX designers to create engaging digital content and requires a strong background in graphic design, web development, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
• Utilize request management tools for high-quality customer support.
• Coordinate with UI/UX designers to ensure engaging graphics products.
• Create graphic designs for various written and digital products.
• Develop design concepts for web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, and logos.
• Ensure products conform to production standards, copyright laws, and accessibility compliance requirements.
• Conduct technical quality checks.
• Manage approved concepts and build in HTML/CSS for responsive design.
• Provide cartography support for thematic and reference maps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience or no degree with 9 years of experience for Journeyman level.
• Bachelor's degree with 18 years of experience or Master's degree with 10 years of experience for Senior level.
• Experience in leading the development of graphics and multimedia products.
• Proficiency in front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS.
• Skills in photography and video editing.
• Ability to mentor and train junior staff.
