About the position

The Journeyman System Engineer position at Leidos involves designing, integrating, testing, and maintaining information systems with a focus on supporting the Secretary of the Air Force's customers. Responsibilities

  • Designs, integrates, tests, fields, and maintains information systems under limited supervision.
  • Plans, estimates, defines, and documents technical requirements for OM&S systems, equipment, and software configurations.
  • Develops architectural concepts and cybersecurity requirements in accordance with RMF.
  • Supports engineering or architectural development in the design, testing, implementation, and sustainment of complex intelligence or information sharing systems.

Requirements

  • Current Secret level clearance.
  • Knowledge and experience with DoD Architectural Framework, FMN, NATOFMN, DISA (MNIS), JIE, JADC2, or DI2E.
  • Ability to apply Systems Engineering methodologies to Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of Mission Partner Environments (MPE).
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of BICES-X or other MPE Programs.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
