Pape' Kenworth is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician/Mechanic to join their team in Ellensburg, WA. This role involves working on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks, ensuring repairs are completed accurately and timely to support customer uptime. Responsibilities

• Perform complicated repairs on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Ensure repairs are done accurately and timely to maximize customer uptime.
• Direct the work of other technicians and mechanics.
• Lead the shift in the Foreman's absence when required.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks.
• Experience with electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Completion of the Kenworth Engine Specialist training track and enrollment in the Kenworth Master Tech program.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.
