About the position

The PSS-1 Software Systems Development (SSD) Team at Compa Industries Inc is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Software Developer (SD) to join their dynamic team. The SSD team is dedicated to developing software tools that assist the ALDWP organizations in achieving their mission objectives. The SD will play a crucial role in the development of the new F.O.R.G.E. web application, which is designed to enhance operational efficiency and support various organizational needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working within the SCRUM framework, which is the methodology adopted by the team for software development. This position requires a strong foundation in software development principles and practices, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including C# .NET development, creating Blazor web applications, and working with Microsoft SQL databases. You will also be involved in managing the Microsoft IIS web hosting environment, utilizing Entity Framework and LINQ for data manipulation, and implementing SignalR for real-time updates in web applications. Additionally, you will be tasked with API development, ensuring the security of APIs, and conducting unit testing to validate the functionality of the software. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, including the use of pipelines, is essential for this role. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of related experience, preferably in a SCRUM development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software tools to assist ALDWP organizations in meeting mission objectives.
• Support the development of the F.O.R.G.E. web application.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of related experience in software development.

• Experience in developing Blazor web applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL and IIS web hosting environment.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Experience using SignalR for real-time web applications.
• Ability to develop and secure APIs.
• Experience with unit testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, including pipelines.
• Experience working in a SCRUM development environment.
