About the position

The Junior Art Director at OLIVER will be responsible for the art direction and design of various marketing materials for both print and web. This role involves collaborating with clients and the creative team to produce compelling assets while adhering to brand guidelines. The position is remote with a preference for candidates in the Southeast, requiring monthly travel to Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Design compelling assets while adhering to brand guidelines across multiple media channels, including corporate branding, social and digital assets, and print collateral.
• Work closely with Account Managers and the creative team to ensure delivery of creative requests from concept to final execution within deadlines.
• Oversee and manage the preparation of finished design files that comply with the correct output specifications for print, digital, and social.
• Assist the Associate Creative Director in providing direction to designers.
• Stay updated on design trends and maintain best practices.
• Create storyboards for video production and support in on-set art direction for interview-style video and short-form social content.

Requirements

• A portfolio of great work.
• Branding experience, especially for corporate brands.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Proficiency in Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Illustration skills.
• Understanding of photography, typography, and printing.
• Experience working within a fast-paced creative environment and the proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Confidence in presentation skills and interacting with clients.
