About the position

Halo Group is seeking a skilled IT professional with a strong background in data development and analytics. The role involves working with various technology ecosystems to build and manage data warehouses, ensuring high-quality delivery in a global and diverse environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft and Hadoop ecosystems, as well as a solid understanding of BI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions using Microsoft Cortana Analytics Suite, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, and PowerBI.
• Build and maintain data warehouses using SQL Server 2012/2016.
• Utilize .Net/SQL and ramp up on USQL for data processing and analytics.
• Apply best practices in BI design and architecture to ensure quality and efficiency in data management.
• Collaborate with diverse teams in a global delivery environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 2 years of work experience in Information Technology.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Ecosystem, including multidimensional cubes, MDX, and T-SQL.
• Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem technologies such as HDFS, Spark, MapReduce, Pig, and Hive.
• Strong technical background in BI foundational concepts, including relational databases, data warehouses, and data marts.
