About the position

The Cloud Data Engineer Internship is a temporary position designed for students or recent graduates, running from May to August 2025. The intern will assist in various aspects of data engineering, including the design, development, testing, and quality assurance of data ETL-ELT processes. This role focuses on building code pipelines and integrating software data sources to facilitate efficient data exchange across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, testing, and execution of automated and manual data ETL-ELT processes.
• Build code pipelines for data integration.
• Work with large sets of operational data from on-premises and off-premises sources.
• Develop secure and efficient processes for data transformation and integration.
• Assist in the acquisition, integration, provision, and exchange of enterprise data in a compliant and timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal business and technology staff to gather and interpret requirements and specifications for ETL development solutions.
• Integrate or replace existing ETL processes to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Basic understanding of database models and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with data security best practices.
