About the position

The Jr. Copywriter position at Creative Circle involves developing and executing communication plans for technology change initiatives within a telecommunications client. This contract role requires strong copy editing skills and collaboration with stakeholders to create targeted communication materials. The position is based in Basking Ridge, NJ, with the requirement to work onsite two days a week, and is expected to last until the end of February 2025.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication plans for technology change initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to identify communication needs and develop targeted messages.
• Create and distribute communication materials, such as emails, newsletters, and presentations.
• Manage the Technology Communications website and social media and slack channels.
• Train Power Up and Mini Power Up courses.
• Track and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, preferably in a technology setting.
• Experience with email marketing, social media, and content development.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with being a trainer and facilitator for technology courses.
• Knowledge of technology trends and best practices.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
