About the position

The Jr Data Analyst with Tableau is responsible for developing data visualization solutions and collaborating with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This role involves analyzing data flows, developing advanced reporting and analytics, and ensuring quality assurance for information delivery applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts to develop business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze and define tasks, data flows, and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
• Identify and communicate design and scope issues to stakeholders.
• Conduct design reviews and oversee QA functions for information delivery applications.
• Create technical deliverable artifacts needed for dashboard implementation.
• Develop and deliver knowledge transfer to the DIAA team.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience developing Data Visualization solutions using Tableau.
• Excellent client interaction and problem-solving communication skills.
• Understanding of data modeling techniques.
• Experience working with relational databases (DB2, SQL Server).
• Experience using Tableau for standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Experience working with multiple disparate data sources in Tableau.
• Experience with advanced Tableau topics such as complex calculations, table calculations, parameters, geographic mapping, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Data Visualization best practices.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
