About the position

The Jr Data Analyst position involves collaborating with various business partners to source and analyze data from multiple datasets. The role focuses on identifying reporting opportunities, creating reports based on business needs, and training end users on reporting tools. The analyst will also document process flows, support ad-hoc reporting, and work on special projects as assigned, all while ensuring data quality and improving data collection processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with various business partners to source data from different datasets.
• Identify new reporting opportunities and create reports based on business needs.
• Design reports and databases.
• Train end users on reporting tools.
• Document process flow of reporting.
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of data and translate connections to operational and financial controls.
• Support ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Work closely with the business to improve data collection and quality.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required (Preferred in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.)
• 3-5 years of professional experience
• Intermediate to advanced Power BI and Microsoft Excel experience
• Advanced analytical skills
• Understanding of off-price model
• Good understanding of data warehousing and data lake architecture
• Experience working with large datasets to extract, manipulate, and analyze performance using business intelligence tools.
