About the position

The Jr. Data Analyst role is an onsite position located in Long Island, NY, designed for individuals with 1 to 4 years of experience in data analysis. The primary focus of this role is to gather, clean, and analyze large datasets, create detailed reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. The position requires strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and a solid background in data analysis tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and process large datasets from various sources.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data trends and insights.
• Interpret complex data and generate actionable insights to inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain detailed reports on quality control, locate data, etc., providing feedback to relevant teams and management.
• Collect a database of 811 contacts across Altice USA's footprint and maintain those contacts.
• Track and analyze data on third-party damages to identify trends and potential areas for preventative measures.
• Prepare and present regular reports to upper management.

Requirements

• Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data reporting.
• Problem-solving skills to approach data-related problems and troubleshoot effectively.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in creating interactive reports and dashboards that update automatically based on real-time data.
• Experience in developing regular reports for executive management, highlighting performance trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all reports and dashboards are accurate and actionable.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
