About the position

The Junior Data Analyst (JDA) at Axos Bank plays a crucial role in supporting the Credit department by providing data and automation solutions. This entry-level position involves performing data mining, delivering business intelligence reporting, and analyzing business functions to recommend operational improvements. The JDA will utilize various tools such as SQL, SSRS, Tableau, and Excel to create reports and manage data integrity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Performing data mining and delivering business intelligence reporting using SQL, SSRS, Tableau, or Excel
• Analyzing business functions and processes, documenting findings, and recommending operational improvements
• Performing other projects, support, and duties as assigned by management
• Utilizing the Bank's systems to create reports to manage assets requiring special attention and monitoring
• Assisting with data architecture management, system-to-system management, data integration, data investigation, and data integrity initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years' experience in SQL, Tableau, Python, and Excel
