About the position

We are seeking a talented Jr. Data Engineer to join our team. This person will be joining a Data Engineering team to help build out a new Data Warehouse. The role involves developing SQL queries, working with ETL tools, and learning some really cool technologies. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data engineering principles and practices, and will be eager to grow their skills in a collaborative environment. As part of the team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of data solutions that support our business objectives. Responsibilities

• Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Assist in the design and implementation of ETL processes.
• Collaborate with team members to build a new Data Warehouse.
• Learn and apply new technologies related to data engineering.
• Support data movement and integration across various systems.

Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
• Experience developing SQL queries.
• Exposure and understanding of ETL practices.
• Understanding of databases and data movement.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.

• Experience with Python.
