About the position

The Jr. DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient performance. This role requires a strong background in Python programming, database architecture, and application design, with a focus on full stack web applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to establish application requirements and features
• Utilize Python to interact with various external APIs
• Develop basic UI for interacting with the application
• Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (Bash, Shell)
• Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other teams to deliver projects on time

Requirements

• Experience designing and maintaining full stack web applications using Python and relevant frameworks (Django or Flask)
• 2-4 years of experience with Python programming
• Familiarity with implementing API calls
• An understanding of database design principles and SQL
• Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes experience
• Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with deploying to cloud environments
• Experience with ELK stacks
• Basic understanding of networking
• Understanding of DDoS
