About the position

HTC Global Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Developer to join our team in Troy, MI. This position involves working under direct supervision to develop and integrate IT solutions using appropriate development methodologies and standards. The Jr. Developer will be engaged in various stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, coding, testing, quality assurance, post-implementation support, documentation, and user training. The role requires a proactive approach to evaluating business application design and implementation, ensuring that solutions meet client needs and adhere to IT standards. In this position, the Jr. Developer will collaborate with clients, functional users, and technical consultants to gather requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. The candidate will review system capabilities and workflow limitations to assess the feasibility of requested changes within existing systems. Analyzing business problems in collaboration with end users is crucial, as is the ability to create solutions that align with stakeholder expectations. The role also involves coordinating with risk analysts to evaluate solutions thoroughly before development begins. The Jr. Developer will prepare test plans based on system requirements and perform load testing to validate solution integrity under extreme conditions. Ensuring that quality standards and system functionality are met is a key responsibility. The candidate will interact with end-users to troubleshoot production issues and improve overall system design based on user feedback. Additionally, the Jr. Developer will explain the end-to-end solution design to the business team for acceptance and provide training to end users on new solutions. Proficiency in tools such as PowerShell, Python, R programming, Pega RPA/RDA, AWS, Git, SQL Server, MS Visio, and Windows is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate IT solutions under direct supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation such as Software Engineer or Programmer Analyst.
• 1 year of experience with PowerShell, Pega RPA, and R programming.
