HTC Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Developer to join our team in Troy, MI. This position requires relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. The Jr. Developer will work under direct supervision to develop and integrate IT solutions, focusing on Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and visualization applications. The role involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities including requirement analysis, design, development, coding, testing, quality assurance, post-implementation support, documentation, and user training. The successful candidate will design, develop, and enhance Power BI visualizations, reports, and charts using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, and Power Apps. Additionally, the role includes working with Tableau to create and enhance visualizations and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Collaboration with the BI and data team is essential to build effective reporting and data analytics solutions. The Jr. Developer will model data according to reporting needs and provide requirements to the data team, ensuring that the integrity of development work and underlying data is maintained through version control systems. The position also requires extensive data analysis on existing business systems using SQL and other software tools to document and report findings. The Jr. Developer will be responsible for documenting high-level and low-level design details, converting functional requirements into technical implementations, and maintaining a knowledge-based repository for technical, functional, and nonfunctional assets. Writing queries to extract and transform data for reporting applications, conducting system testing and user acceptance testing, and managing defects are also key responsibilities. Moreover, the role involves identifying enhancements to existing designs, implementing automation solutions for manual tasks, conducting technical training sessions for the team, and supporting critical SLA-bound applications. The Jr. Developer will provide application deployment support, verify applications with end users, and communicate critical application status across the organization during infrastructure upgrades or maintenance. Training users on application features is also part of the job.
