HTC Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Developer to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This position requires relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. The Jr. Developer will work under direct supervision to develop and integrate IT solutions utilizing appropriate development methodologies and standards. The focus will be on predictive analytics, statistical modeling, data analytics, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP). The role involves identifying client requirements through detailed discussions and meetings with clients, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to gather requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. The Jr. Developer will review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to assess the feasibility of requested changes within the existing system. Analyzing business problems in the current system will be a key responsibility, requiring collaboration with end users. The developer will prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the modeling pipeline that aligns with client requirements and will develop detailed technical specifications for machine learning-based applications to be executed by the development team. In addition, the role includes reviewing technical design specifications and coding new or modifying existing programs according to design requirements. The Jr. Developer will review all data sources, extract metadata, visualize data to detect anomalies and data gaps, and pre-process/clean all data. Performing exploratory data analysis to derive business hypotheses and communicating data results will also be essential. The position requires applying various data sampling techniques, selecting data models based on business requirements, and validating model performance with test data. The developer will also be responsible for deploying the best model in production and developing dashboards in Power BI for quick insights into results. Ensuring the desired quality standards and system functionality are met is a critical aspect of this role.
