About the position

TriStar CAD & PLM Solutions is seeking a skilled Jr. Digital Marketing Developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites, primarily for TriStar.com. This role involves both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins, site integration, and security updates. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Marketing to create website architecture and ensure brand consistency across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director of Marketing to design and build accompanying websites, focusing on front-end and content.
• Design and manage the website back-end, including database and server integration.
• Install and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot content issues.
• Ensure brand messages are consistent across all platforms.
• Occasionally produce emails promoting new blogs/posts.
• Upload new content provided by engineering stakeholders.
• Utilize the proprietary CRM system to maximize marketing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience in WordPress/CMS and Front-End Development (HTML5/CSS3).
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer with a portfolio or samples required.
• Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• SEO experience is a plus, including knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Analytics, Schema Markup, and Rich Snippets.
• Skilled in Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Suite, particularly Avada Theme Builder.
• Comfortable developing digital and occasional print marketing in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to quickly understand proper mapping to TriStar solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Manufacturing, CAD, and PLM knowledge is a plus but not required.
