About the position
SYMVIONICS has an immediate opening for a Jr. Digital Media Specialist / Artist located at NAWCTSD in Orlando, FL. This position is responsible for building 2D images and 3D models for training and simulation products. The role also involves providing documentation, video creation, and other visual assistance. All work is conducted in a government facility with tightly controlled access in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities
- 3D modeling/texturing
- 2D illustration/graphic design
- Product documentation
- Multimedia production
Requirements
- Two years of experience in 3D modeling, photography, creating textures, manipulating digital photos, and creating page layouts.
- Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Organizational and planning skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in operating computer equipment and software
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Adobe Captivate
- Knowledge of Perforce (or equivalent)
