About the position

The Jr. ERP Consultant role is designed for a professional who can effectively bridge the gap between accounting and IT systems. This position involves consulting with customers on the use of proprietary ERP software, providing both in-person and remote support, and conducting training sessions. The role is customer-facing and requires a strong understanding of accounting processes and ERP systems, particularly those from Microsoft and Sage.

Responsibilities

• Consult to customers on how to effectively use the client's proprietary ERP software
• Meet with clients in-person for go-live installations
• Provide remote support to various users across finance and accounting
• Gather requirements and document business processes
• Conduct trainings both remotely and in-person
• Gain market expertise to recommend improvements on the software for future upgrade projects

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience, whether in corporate accounting, with a CPA firm, or a Big 4 Consultancy
• Thorough understanding of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Extensive hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central, NAV, Great Plains, AX, F&O) or Sage 500
• Experience preparing financial statements
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing professionalism
• Must have a valid US Passport and be able to travel as needed (max 25%)
