About the position

As a Jr. Financial Analyst focused on supporting the finance and accounting team, you'll be an essential part of driving data-informed decisions, optimizing financial processes, and tackling complex challenges with scaling a high-growth company. You'll contribute directly to the company's growth and profitability by supporting financial and operational decision-making, providing insightful variance analysis, and streamlining processes within the monthly close, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance and Accounting teams with the monthly close process
  • Interact and collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across the organization on budgets including variance analysis
  • Assist with creating and updating and maintaining financial models
  • Handle ad hoc requests, such as market research, profitability analysis
  • Play an integral role in the annual and seasonal budgeting processes
  • Assist in tracking and forecasting operating expenses and other business costs
  • Reconcile financial data across systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives

Requirements

  • BS or BA, preferably in Finance or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • You're data driven and have strong analytical skills

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-2 Years of relevant experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, Banking or related role, experience in a startup environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude, eager to take on new challenges and wear multiple hats
