About the position

Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd. is currently seeking a temporary Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in New York City. The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in creating a variety of marketing materials for our extensive network of over 200 sales representatives on the East Coast. This position involves engaging with brands for various advertising campaigns and assisting in making monthly technical and visual changes to our portfolio catalogs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and digital marketing, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. In this role, the Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing sales and marketing collateral, including brochures, signage, and promotional displays. Collaboration is key, as the designer will work closely with the team manager and sales representatives to ensure that the design solutions meet customer expectations. Maintaining visual consistency within brand standards is essential, and the designer will translate campaigns into various digital assets, such as web slides, e-blasts, and social media content. The position requires the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with quick turnarounds while ensuring quality and detail-oriented results. The designer will also work directly with the CEO and the creative marketing director to develop new wine label brand identities, coordinating with printers on technical aspects for label production, including Pantone color matching and finishes. Additionally, the designer will prepare finalized label tech packs for printers and suppliers in France, California, and Canada, review monthly catalog layouts in InDesign, and collaborate with the Compliance Department on layout drafts for approval. Other responsibilities include managing catalog covers, designing brand and item ads, creating in-house projects, photographing product shots, and utilizing video creation tools. The role is full-time, requiring a commitment to working Monday through Friday, with a focus on delivering high-quality design work that aligns with the company's branding and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create sales and marketing collateral such as brochures, signage, and promotional displays.
  • Collaborate with team manager and sales reps to execute the best design solution based on customer's expectations.
  • Maintain visual consistency within brand standards from style guides and translate campaigns to a variety of digital assets such as web slides, e-blasts, and social media.
  • Simultaneously work on high-priority projects with quick turnarounds while managing deadlines and developing quality, detail-oriented results.
  • Work closely with the CEO and creative marketing director to develop new wine label brand identities from initial concept to final marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with printers on technical aspects for label production including Pantone color matching, paper stock, finishes, and tactile techniques.
  • Prepare finalized label tech packs to printers and suppliers in France, California, and Canada.
  • Review monthly catalog layouts in InDesign using a guided snapshot with speed and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Department in preparing layout drafts for approval.
  • Manage catalog covers to reflect the specific portfolio using Shutterstock imagery and product close-ups.
  • Design catalog brand and item ads (skyscrapers) monthly by using existing brand materials and assets.
  • Create all projects in-house by mounting, laminating, and using post press tools such as the guillotine and Duplo.
  • Photograph standard product shots for stock library in-house and specialized shots for lifestyle backgrounds or mock-ups, including editing, photo manipulation, and color correction through Photoshop.
  • Create videos using Adobe Premiere.
  • Familiarity with AI image and content solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design or digital marketing.
  • Proficient with design software and technologies such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with CorelDraw.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving and research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the wine industry is preferred.
