About the position

The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality media for both digital and print formats, including video ads, graphic ads, web graphics, brochures, and social media content. This role requires adherence to branding standards and collaboration with the website admin to design engaging website layouts. The position is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days of remote work and 3-4 days in the office, located in Poway, California.

Responsibilities

• Design media from concept to creation
• Organize and maintain the media library
• Create UI/UX designs for the main website and landing pages
• Assist in organizing and planning video/photo shoots
• Produce prolific content as assigned

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color schemes
• Experience in UI/UX design including page layout and user experience
• Knowledge of responsive web design and front-end development
• Photography skills
• Portfolio or work samples required
• 1 year of related experience

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in computer/hardware engineering
• Working knowledge of 3D design (Keyshot)
• Experience creating infographics or data visualizations
• Knowledge of Solidworks
• Video editing skills
• Animation and motion design skills
