About the position

The Jr. Graphic Designer position at United Merchant Services is an entry-level role focused on creating visually appealing designs for both digital and print media. The designer will work on various projects including advertisements, social media content, and web design, while collaborating with the team to enhance user experience and brand presence.

Responsibilities

• Design concepts across printed and digital assets, including print advertisements, websites, social media, digital marketing campaigns, e-blasts, and presentation materials.
• Layout design that translates across multiple platforms (web, email, mobile, print).
• Create imagery and video for social use (infographics, posts, reels, and YouTube).
• Work collaboratively on UX/UI design initiatives.
• Independently follow directions and execute revisions with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain the appropriate tone for brand audience.

Requirements

• BFA (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Premiere.
• Knowledge of Figma and WordPress.
• Ability to conceptualize original ideas through design.
• Strong communication skills and consistent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bilingual (English/Korean).
