About the position

Adidev Technologies is seeking entry-level and mid-level Android developers to optimize, build, and troubleshoot large-scale applications for enterprise-level clients. The role requires a driven self-starter who is open to relocation and working onsite post-Covid-19 restrictions. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a desire to work collaboratively in a team environment, with the opportunity to make an immediate impact and grow their skillset.

Responsibilities

• Optimize, build, and troubleshoot large-scale Android applications.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Manage time effectively and work independently on assigned tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with Java.
• Exposure to or willingness to learn Kotlin.
• At least 1 application published to the PlayStore.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Comfortable with Git and source control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries for common tasks.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
