About the position

The Junior-Mid Frontend UI Developer position at Jacobs involves supporting mission-critical projects in the Cyber, Security, and Intelligence space. The role focuses on developing user-facing components of websites and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while collaborating with a team to enhance system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
• Resolve complex technical design issues
• Develop technical specifications and plans
• Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents
• Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers
• Achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
• Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation and or reports as requested
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
• Work with our developers to improve usability for our customers
• Optimize web design for maximum speed
• Build the front-end portion of websites and web applications
• Modify current websites and applications using web languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Translate an existing website design and transform the look and feel to a modern and up to date look.

Requirements

• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiar with Team Foundation Server
• Familiar with .Net and MVC
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience

• Experience with or knowledge of C#, Java, Java Script, CSS, T-SQL, MVC, .NET, SQL and JavaScript Framework
