About the position

The Jr. Operations Analyst at Origence is an entry-level position focused on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. This role involves analyzing business processes, evaluating IT systems, and identifying areas for improvement. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure timely resolution of incidents and support the introduction of modern technologies. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with team members to optimize system performance and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and assist in evaluating IT systems and sub-systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance system efficiencies.
  • Work with System Analysts and Leadership to ensure proper monitoring is configured.
  • Review performance baselines and metrics, and create/update runbooks and reports.
  • Serve as a point of contact for escalating incidents and problems for applications and systems.
  • Own tasks related to problem management and resolution, ensuring timely escalation as needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address incoming requests in a timely manner.
  • Align Product, Development, and Engineering on the introduction of modern technologies.
  • Assist management in planning and process improvements relating to platform operations.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support and critical issue resolution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Entry-level experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or system analysis preferred.
  • Knowledge of business processes and ability to identify solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
  • Basic understanding of Information Technology concepts, including hardware, software, network, and security.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certification in operations analysis or ITIL preferred.
  • Familiarity with web-based software application environments.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.
