About the position

The Jr. Photographer/Retoucher at Yami is responsible for fulfilling the company's imagery needs by photographing and retouching product images to ensure high quality. This role involves quality control of all images created and managing photography equipment, contributing to the company's mission of connecting people with authentic products through e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Photograph a variety of products for e-commerce use, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Set up and shoot clean, professional white-background product images.
• Create lifestyle images with props and scenes to showcase products in real-life scenarios.
• Utilize basic lighting techniques to enhance product appearance.
• Edit and retouch photos to meet brand standards using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and fulfill daily photography requirements.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in photography, particularly product photography.
• Strong time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Chinese and English.
• Experience with AI tools for photo editing.
• Basic lighting skills for professional results.
