About the position

The Assistant Product Manager will oversee product lines throughout their entire life cycle, focusing on expanding product portfolios and developing market opportunities. This role involves collaboration with Sales and Marketing to define market strategies and engage with key customers, serving as a liaison for the product lines managed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, including product specification selection and communication with manufacturers.
  • Develop and execute a company-wide marketing campaign/plan in partnership with Marketing and Sales.
  • Specify market requirements and needs for current and future products through market research.
  • Coordinate product informational charts including SKU Numbers, specs, price, key features, and marketing topics.
  • Conduct Yearly and Monthly data report analysis, including daily promotional reports and survey results.
  • Analyze inventory control and manage back up fulfillment and cancellations.
  • Manage vendor and product selection, overseeing ongoing vendor relationships from performance to cost management.
  • Track vendor purchase orders to ensure delivery dates are updated in NetSuite.
  • Evaluate risks of inventory shortages and manage monthly supplies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in Product Management or related areas.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Supply Chain experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage products for the entire product cycle.
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proactive planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidential business information.
  • Timely response to inquiries and technical support.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills; team player mindset is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Chinese is a plus!
  • Open to sponsor H1B/OPT.
