About the position

As a Jr. QA Engineer, you will be part of the Concentrix Catalyst team, which is responsible for enhancing the experience design and engineering capabilities of the organization. This role is essential in delivering strategic consulting, design, advisory services, market research, and contact center analytics that provide valuable insights to improve client outcomes and value. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of experts to create game-changing solutions that help brands grow and succeed in a competitive landscape. In this junior-level position, you will be expected to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ, three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) and on your first day. The role requires a strong foundation in functional testing and test automation across various technologies, with a particular emphasis on web services (APIs) and BDD for automation. You will utilize frameworks such as Selenium or equivalent tools to ensure the quality and reliability of the software products being developed. Your ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with team members will be crucial in accomplishing tasks and meeting project deadlines. Experience in the banking, financial services, or cards domain is preferred, as it will enhance your understanding of the specific challenges and requirements in these sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional testing and test automation across multiple technologies.
  • Test web services (APIs) using BDD for automation.
  • Utilize Selenium or equivalent frameworks for testing.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Functional Testing and Test automation outside of schooling.
  • Strong understanding of testing web services (APIs).
  • Experience in using BDD for automation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Selenium or equivalent frameworks.
  • Ability to sustain in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
