The Junior Regional Recruiter will work under close supervision to provide support in employee recruitment and selection processes. This role involves collaborating with line managers to define candidate profiles, organizing and conducting interviews, and maintaining contact with external search companies. The recruiter will analyze the effectiveness of various recruitment techniques and prepare reports on candidates to ensure a streamlined hiring process. In this learning role, candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field. The position is responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting throughout the organization, which includes interfacing with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, placing advertisements, reviewing resumes, qualifying candidates, and managing the interview process. The Junior Regional Recruiter will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver high-quality candidates and will be expected to build strong relationships with hiring managers and department leaders to efficiently fulfill hiring requests. The role also requires the recruiter to actively source candidates using industry best practices, determine applicant qualifications through interviews, and provide consistent candidate engagement throughout the pre-hire and post-hire processes. The recruiter will track and manage applicant flow in the Applicant Tracking System and assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees. Additionally, the recruiter will be responsible for tracking recruiting metrics and updating job and industry knowledge through educational opportunities and professional organizations. This position offers a chance to grow and take on additional responsibilities as the recruiter develops their skills and knowledge in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to employee recruitment and selection processes under close supervision.
  • Collaborate with line managers to define candidate profiles and staffing needs.
  • Organize and conduct interviews with potential candidates.
  • Maintain contact with external search companies to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of recruitment techniques and prepare reports on candidates.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements on professional networks such as Marmon Career site, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter.
  • Screen applicant resumes based on job descriptions and relevant manager input.
  • Actively source candidates using industry best practices to develop a talent pool.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing and analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications against job requirements.
  • Present qualified candidates to respective hiring managers and provide interview follow-up communications.
  • Track and manage applicant flow in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
  • Provide tracking and reporting of recruiting metrics such as open requisitions and time to fill.
  • Organize career fairs and perform outreach to career resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications (preferred).
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in recruitment or a related field, or 3 to 5 years of combined education and equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of general recruiting and interviewing principles and industry best practices.
  • Engaging communication and effective listening skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with sourcing and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter.
