About the position

Lars Remodeling & Design is seeking a Jr. Residential Designer/Architectural Drafter to join their team in San Diego. This full-time, office-based role focuses on supporting residential remodeling and new home construction projects. The position involves project management and administrative tasks, ensuring projects progress smoothly under the guidance of experienced Residential Designers.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tasks and timelines to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Perform administrative tasks including redlines, field measurements, and as-built drawings.
• Scan and file project documents and drawings.
• Conduct field verifications to ensure accuracy in designs and measurements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of basic design principles, materials, construction techniques, and building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
