About the position

The Ezlo Distribution Sales Specialist role is a full-time position focused on managing relationships with electronics distributor branch locations and driving product sales growth within the dealer and distribution channel. This remote position, based in the Boston area, offers opportunities for in-person meetings with the Executive Leadership Team and travel to various locations across the US.

Responsibilities

  • Launch an exciting, new IoT product, while identifying new channels, distributors and partners
  • Develop a regular routine for visiting distributor and customer branches and identifying dealer opportunities at the local level
  • Drive sales through distribution by providing training, marketing support and product demonstrations
  • Effectively communicate Ezlo value proposition to distributor sales representatives and their dealers
  • Implement sales action plans to effectively and efficiently execute on company strategy
  • Log all meetings and calls to HubSpot (our CRM) on a daily basis
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, and competition in each market
  • Add value to customers through growth and support activities including product demonstrations, regional trade shows and product road shows

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of sales strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools
  • Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Proactive and high energy, strong customer focus and responsiveness
  • Technically competent to run product demonstrations and provide training
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Self-managed, goal-oriented and able to work remote
  • Willingness to travel 30% of the time, visiting distributor and dealer locations, and attending trade shows

  • Security, IoT, smart home or consumer electronics sales experience preferred
