About the position

As a Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist at SambaSafety, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This position is a remote 1099 contract for a duration of six months, with the possibility of extension. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting hiring managers and executive recruiters with various recruitment duties, ensuring that the hiring process is smooth and efficient. You will be responsible for reviewing available positions and understanding candidate requirements, which is essential for matching the right talent with the right roles. In this role, you will communicate regularly with the HR team to align on recruitment strategies and updates. You will also be tasked with posting job applications on various social media platforms and job sites to attract a diverse pool of candidates. Tracking open positions using recruiting software will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will assisting the hiring team in screening candidate résumés to identify the best fits for the organization. Conducting initial phone screenings and setting up interviews will also be part of your daily activities, ensuring that candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Managing the résumé database effectively will be crucial, as it will help streamline the recruitment process and maintain organized records of all applicants. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the hiring team and ensuring that SambaSafety continues to attract top talent in the industry.
