About the position

The Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist at TicketNetwork, Inc. plays a crucial role in the recruitment process, driving the full life cycle of recruitment from sourcing to onboarding. This position is designed for entry-level candidates looking to develop their skills in human resources and talent acquisition within a dynamic and innovative company in the ticketing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the full life cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, administering preemployment assessments, coordinating interviews, reference checking, and presenting job offers.
  • Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent.
  • Utilize social media platforms and job boards to advertise job openings and engage with potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist with writing job descriptions.
  • Accurately track candidate progress within the Applicant Tracking System and provide updates to hiring managers.
  • Conduct background screenings, new hire onboarding, and joining day orientations.
  • Assist with reporting for key metrics to adjust recruiting timelines and procedures.
  • Handle inquiries from applicants, hiring managers, and employees regarding complex matters.
  • Perform routine tasks to administer and execute other human resources functions as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management.
  • Assist in performance management processes and exit interviewing.
  • Assist in reporting of employee relations topics and training of employees.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • At least one year of experience in researching or sourcing in a recruitment or staffing environment.
  • At least one year of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in HR.
  • Experience utilizing online job boards such as Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, and LinkedIn.

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
