About the position

AppStango is looking for a Jr. Technical Project Manager & Designer who will play a dual role in managing projects and contributing to design efforts. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and creative skills to oversee projects from concept to launch while enhancing user experience through design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, marketing) to define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project plans using tools like Jira or Trello to ensure timely completion and adherence to goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Track project resources and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and cost control.
• Work with product managers on user experience (UX) design, creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with visual designers to ensure brand consistency and a visually appealing user interface (UI).
• Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in project management, UX design, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Teams.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• A passion for both design and technology, with an eye for detail and a focus on user needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with design software (e.g., Figma, Paintshop, Adobe XD) a plus.
