About the position

ABBTECH is seeking a proactive Junior Technical Recruiter to join their talent team. This role is essential for identifying and engaging top-tier IT talent, focusing on attracting qualified candidates and maintaining strong candidate relationships throughout the hiring process to ensure an excellent candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Team and hiring managers to strategize for difficult-to-fill roles and provide support during surges.
  • Maintain oversight of open requisitions and candidate statuses using internal databases and ABBTECH's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), delivering regular updates to the leadership team.
  • Produce reports and metrics to monitor the efficiency of sourcing efforts, providing valuable insights for ongoing enhancements.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing methods, including online searches, social media platforms, networking events, and industry connections, to identify and attract exceptional candidates.
  • Assess and prescreen external candidates for job openings, identifying applicants who match the posted requisites and directing them to the hiring manager for further consideration.
  • Coordinate interviews, collaborate with the security team for background checks, and oversee the start and completion of the candidate's project.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to comprehend exact job criteria, ensuring candidate profiles align seamlessly.

Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma with at least 1-3 years of recruiting experience.
  • Ability to go onsite 3 times a week to Sterling, VA.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or other recruitment software (preferably BullHorn).
  • Experience sourcing qualified candidates using various sourcing methods.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in B.A. or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1+ years of staffing industry experience with light industrial or clerical staffing.
